Advocations regarding LGBTQI+ inclusion

We advocate for full inclusion and consideration of LGBTQI+ persons, both within The Salvation Army and wider community. In support of this, we aim to build relationships and engage with key Salvation Army personnel.

International Conference of Leaders 2022
On September 24th 2022 General Brian Peddle, the international leader of The Salvation Army, gave a keynote opening speech to the international leadership of The Salvation Army, at the International Conference of Leaders (ICL) in Vancouver, Canada. A report of this speech was released by IHQ Communciations. We, along with many salvationists, felt compelled to respond.

The General's Letter to Salvationists 2021
On July 1st 2021 General Brian Peddle, the international leader of The Salvation Army, released a letter addressed to all salvationists. We understand the hurt, anger, grief and frustration experienced by many with this letter. We, along with many salvationists, felt compelled to respond.
